Guide
OGameX Auto Build
Auto Build upgrades standard buildings on detected planets and moons using an independent configuration for each celestial. You choose which locations participate, which buildings are enabled, their target levels, and the order in which available targets are considered.
Overview
Planet configurations include mines, energy buildings, storage, and standard facilities. Moon configurations include Moon Base and supported moon facilities. The current OGameX feature does not present a separate lifeform-building module, so this guide covers only the building choices visible in its interface.
Auto Build needs its sidebar toggle, the main bot, at least one enabled celestial, and at least one enabled building below a positive target. Current resources, construction queues, prerequisites, available fields, and energy can cause a target to wait.
Discover and Enable Celestials
Each detected planet and moon appears as a collapsible card with name, type, coordinates, and current result. The card toggle enables Auto Build for that location. The main sidebar toggle remains the feature-wide control.
If no celestials appear, enable Auto Build and start the bot once so it can discover planets, moons, and current levels. Select Refresh All Levels after account changes or when displayed values are old. The next Auto Build run updates the snapshots.
A card marked missing represents a stored configuration not detected in the current account state. Keep it only if the celestial is temporarily unavailable. Remove it when it no longer belongs to the account.
Planet Building Choices
Planet cards can include:
- Metal Mine, Crystal Mine, and Deuterium Refinery;
- Solar Power Plant and Fusion Reactor;
- Metal Storage, Crystal Storage, and Deuterium Tank;
- Robot Factory, Nanite Factory, Shipyard, and Research Lab;
- University, Terraformer, and Missile Silo.
Names are displayed from the current game where available. Toggle off any building that should not be considered, even if it has a target left from an older configuration.
Moon Building Choices
Moon cards can include Moon Base, Robot Factory, Nanite Factory, Shipyard, Phalanx Sensor, and Jump Gate. Moons do not use planet mines, storage safeguards, or energy preferences.
Moon fields are limited, so set deliberate targets and priorities. A blocked moon target can remain pending when prerequisites or fields are unavailable. Review the card’s last message rather than repeatedly forcing checks.
Target Levels and Priorities
Each building row shows the current level and target level. A target of zero means there is no positive level goal for that item. The building must also be enabled.
Drag rows or use the arrow controls to change priority. Auto Build considers enabled items below target in that order, while safeguards can promote necessary energy or storage work. See Auto Build Priorities and Safeguards for the decision flow.
Use a short first list. Setting high targets for every building makes it harder to understand why a particular upgrade was selected.
Apply, Import, and Export
Apply to all copies the reusable choices from one celestial configuration to compatible locations. Review every resulting card because planets and moons do not share identical building lists or needs.
Export saves one celestial’s Auto Build configuration. Import applies a compatible saved configuration while retaining the current celestial identity. This is useful for similar colonies, but target levels and priorities should still be checked.
These per-celestial actions are separate from the account-wide Configuration Tools.
Status Results
Cards and the feature status can report idle, building started, construction queue busy, targets complete, no targets configured, waiting for resources, blocked, or retry scheduled.
Queue busy is a normal wait while another construction is active. Targets complete means every enabled positive target is met, not that every building in the game is finished. Blocked can indicate prerequisites, fields, or another condition that prevents the next target.
Interaction with Bank and Research
Bank can supply configured building requirements when Bank support for buildings is enabled. Auto Research may compete for the same resources. Use conservative targets and confirm Bank reserves before running both aggressively.
Construction can also affect Research Lab or other facilities needed by research. Review priorities rather than assuming both modules can always progress simultaneously.
Recommended Setup
- Discover celestials and refresh levels.
- Enable one planet card.
- Toggle on one mine or facility.
- Set a target one level above the current value.
- Place it near the top of priority.
- Keep energy and storage safeguards enabled for the first test.
- Watch the first construction and next-action status.
- Add targets and other celestials gradually.
Troubleshooting
- No cards appear: run Auto Build once for discovery and refresh.
- No targets configured: set a positive target above the current level and enable that row.
- Queue busy: wait for current construction to finish.
- Waiting for resources: review affordability and Bank settings.
- A moon target is blocked: check fields and prerequisites.
- Imported settings look wrong: stop the feature and review every target and priority before restarting.
FAQ
Can Auto Build configure planets and moons separately?
Yes. Every detected celestial has its own toggle, supported building list, targets, priority, and status.
Does it include lifeform buildings?
No separate lifeform-building module is exposed in the current OGameX Auto Build interface.
What does targets complete mean?
All enabled buildings with positive targets on that configuration have reached their requested levels.
Can Bank supply an Auto Build target?
Yes, when Bank is configured, enabled, and allowed to support building requirements.
Should I use Apply to all immediately?
No. Test one celestial first, then copy compatible choices and review each destination card.
