Auto Build Priorities and Safeguards

Auto Build does more than follow the first target in a list. Each building must be enabled and below its target, and planet safeguards can promote necessary energy or storage work. This guide explains how to create a predictable order without overloading a celestial with goals.

Overview

Every planet or moon card contains a priority list. The current level comes from the latest observed snapshot. The target is your desired level. The row toggle decides whether the building is eligible.

Priority expresses preference, not a promise that the first row always starts. The construction queue, resources, prerequisites, fields, energy, storage safeguards, and Bank delivery can all affect what is available.

Build a Short Priority List

Start with three or fewer enabled targets. Put the most important reachable upgrade first, followed by supporting buildings. Set each initial target only one level above the current value.

Drag rows to reorder them or use the up and down arrows. Review the final order after importing a configuration because a different planet may have different levels and needs.

A building with target zero has no positive goal. A disabled building is ignored even when an old target remains. This lets you pause one item without deleting its desired level.

Auto Adjust Energy

Auto Adjust Energy applies to planets. When energy is negative, Auto Build can promote an enabled energy building that remains below its target.

Choose Solar Power Plant or Fusion Reactor as the preferred energy building. The choice does not remove the need for a valid target and resources. If the preferred option cannot progress, review its current level, target, prerequisites, and fuel considerations.

Do not set energy targets blindly. Check how the chosen energy source affects the planet’s development plan and resource use.

Automatic Storage Support

Auto Build Storage applies the displayed 40 percent safeguard: corresponding storage buildings can be promoted to at least 40 percent of their mine level when they are enabled and remain below target.

This safeguard only reorders eligible configured buildings. It does not create a storage target that you have disabled or left below the required level. Set storage targets high enough for the safeguard to help.

If a mine repeatedly waits despite visible resources, check whether storage capacity is the limiting factor and whether its corresponding storage row is enabled.

Planet and Moon Differences

Planet safeguards apply to mines, energy, and storage. Planet facilities follow in the same configured priority list when they are enabled and below target.

Moons have no mines, planet energy setting, or storage rule. Their priority should account for Moon Base and available fields before expensive facilities. A facility can remain blocked when there is no field capacity or a prerequisite is missing.

Do not copy a planet strategy directly onto moons. Use Auto Build for the supported lists and per-celestial controls.

Reading Results

Building started confirms an upgrade began. Construction queue busy means another build is active. Targets complete means enabled positive targets are met. No targets configured means no eligible goal remains. Waiting for resources means the next candidate is not affordable. Blocked points to prerequisites, fields, or another restriction. Retry scheduled follows a failed attempt.

When a result is unexpected, inspect the specific celestial card and its last message. Do not raise every target or repeatedly use Run now; correct the reason first.

Working with Bank

Bank can create a transfer request for a building requirement when building support is enabled. The target remains waiting until resources arrive. Review Bank Queue to see remaining, in-transit, arrival, and return information.

Bank is not a substitute for priority design. A long list of unaffordable targets can create repeated demand. Use short goals and preserve resources needed for research, fuel, and protection.

  1. Refresh current levels.
  2. Enable one mine and set a one-level target.
  3. Enable corresponding storage with a reachable target.
  4. Enable one energy building and choose the preferred source.
  5. Arrange the mine first and supporting choices nearby.
  6. Watch which candidate starts and why.
  7. Confirm Bank requests only when intended.
  8. Add facilities after the resource routine is stable.

Troubleshooting

  • A disabled row still shows a target: the target is saved but ignored until the row is enabled.
  • Energy remains negative: check that the preferred energy building is enabled, below target, and currently buildable.
  • Storage is not promoted: enable the corresponding storage row and set a sufficient target.
  • The first priority is skipped: it may be unaffordable, blocked, complete, disabled, or superseded by a safeguard.
  • Bank creates too many requests: shorten targets and review building support and reserves.

FAQ

Does first priority always build first?

No. It must also be enabled, below target, affordable, and currently available; safeguards can promote required support work.

What does the storage safeguard do?

It can promote enabled storage toward the displayed 40 percent relationship with the corresponding mine.

Does Auto Adjust Energy work on moons?

No. It is a planet safeguard for the available energy buildings.

Can I pause one building without deleting its target?

Yes. Turn off that building’s row toggle and leave the target saved for later.

Why is a moon facility blocked?

Check Moon Base, available fields, prerequisites, resources, and whether another construction is already active.
