Ikariam Island Scanner and Inactive Farming Guide

The Islands feature scans map regions, stores island details, deep-scans player data, and turns eligible inactive cities into manual or automatic Pillage orders.

Scan results are account-specific cached snapshots. Island slots, cities, player status, and alliances can change, so refresh important targets before acting.

Scan Islands

Enter center X and Y coordinates and a radius from 1 to 64, then choose Scan now. The bulk scanner checks the square region around that center and stores the island records it finds.

Start with a small radius. The panel records the last scan time and the number of islands waiting for a deep scan.

Browse and Deep Scan

Browse can filter cached islands by luxury resource and sort them by distance or island ID. Depending on available data, each result shows:

  • coordinates and island ID;
  • luxury resource;
  • free and total city slots; and
  • the known player count.

Bulk results may not include player details. Queue Deep scan for an island when you need its city, player, inactivity, and alliance data.

Configure the Raid Loadout

Inactive Players uses one shared raid loadout:

  • origin city;
  • transporter count; and
  • land-unit quantities.

The origin city is switched automatically when a queued raid runs. It still needs the configured units and transporters at execution time.

Clicking Raid beside a target creates a one-shot Pillage order in the existing Military Deploy queue. Military and its Deploy subtask must be enabled for that order to send.

Automatic Inactive-Player Farming

Enable the switch in the Inactive Players subtab to let the task choose eligible cached inactive targets. Configure:

  • run interval from 5 to 1,440 minutes;
  • per-target cooldown from 1 to 168 hours;
  • scan refresh interval from 15 to 1,440 minutes;
  • excluded player names; and
  • excluded alliance names.

The task refreshes stale scan data, filters invalid or excluded targets, avoids targets still inside their cooldown, checks movement availability, and queues the next eligible Pillage with the saved loadout. Recent results and the total sent count appear in the status area.

Use exclusions for players or alliances you never want selected automatically. Enter values consistently with the names shown by the deep scan.

Colonization Data

Auto Build uses cached islands that report free slots to populate its New Colony selector. A cached free slot is not a reservation; another player can occupy it before the colony order reaches the server.

Storage and Refresh Strategy

Large scan radii and extensive deep scans create a larger local cache and more requests. Prefer targeted regions, refresh on a practical schedule, and deep-scan only islands relevant to farming or colonization.

  1. Scan a small nearby region.
  2. Deep-scan one or two islands.
  3. Save a conservative raid loadout.
  4. Test the Raid button and inspect Military Deploy.
  5. Add player and alliance exclusions.
  6. Enable automatic farming with a longer interval and cooldown first.

FAQ

Does automatic farming attack every inactive player?

No. It selects from eligible cached deep-scan results, respects exclusions and per-target cooldowns, and requires a valid origin city and raid loadout.

Why is the inactive-player list empty?

Bulk scanning does not always include player details. Deep-scan relevant islands and confirm the cached players are marked inactive.

Does Raid send immediately?

Raid adds a Pillage order to Military Deploy. The Military master toggle, Deploy switch, schedule, available units, and current server state determine when it sends.
